Expertly made from premium A-grade teak and built using an extra-heavy 8 × 8cm solid timber frame, this is the highest specification bench in our range. Combining exceptional craftsmanship with timeless design, it is suitable for memorial gardens, parks, churches, cemeteries, golf clubs, schools, village greens, woodland settings and other meaningful outdoor spaces.

Every bench is delivered fully assembled and ready to position.

Please note that our memorial benches are heavy-duty products and are designed to provide many years of outdoor use. Due to their size and weight, our delivery service does not include installation or positioning.

Customers should ensure suitable assistance is available to move the bench into its final location after delivery. If your delivery location has restricted access, steps, uneven ground or any other access considerations, please let us know before placing your order so we can advise accordingly.

Important: Teak oil enhances the timber's natural colour but is not a permanent finish. As a natural outdoor hardwood, teak will gradually weather and lighten over time. Regular re-oiling is recommended if you wish to maintain the darker golden-brown appearance.

Optional Teak Oiling Service (£100)

Teak is one of the world's most durable hardwoods and requires very little maintenance. Left untreated, it naturally weathers over time, developing an elegant silver-grey patina while retaining its exceptional strength and durability.

Our optional Teak Oiling Service (£100) is designed to enhance the bench's appearance before delivery. We apply two generous coats of premium teak oil, allowing at least 24 hours between each coat to ensure the timber fully absorbs the oil before assembly.

What to Expect

Teak oil is not a varnish, lacquer or permanent sealant. It penetrates the timber to enrich its natural colour but will gradually fade as the bench is exposed to the elements.
Depending on the bench's location and local weather conditions, you may notice the timber beginning to lighten or dry within a few months. This is completely normal and forms part of the natural ageing process of genuine outdoor teak.
Benches positioned in full sun, coastal locations, exposed gardens or areas with frequent rain, frost or harsh weather will weather more quickly than those placed in sheltered locations.
This natural weathering does not affect the structural integrity or lifespan of the bench.

Ongoing Care

To maintain the rich golden-brown appearance of freshly oiled teak, we recommend applying a suitable teak oil approximately every 6–12 months, or more frequently if the bench is located in an exposed environment.

Many customers choose not to re-oil their bench, allowing it to naturally develop its distinctive silver-grey finish. This is one of the defining characteristics of genuine teak and is widely appreciated for its timeless appearance.

Please note: Product images may show an oiled bench, which appears darker in colour. An unoiled bench will be lighter when first delivered and will naturally continue to weather over time.
